Food Flow does not require an OpenAI API key. When you want AI-powered ideas, it builds the prompt for you to copy into your own ChatGPT account. You can even save the link to a dedicated Food Flow ChatGPT conversation for easier repeat use.

Your Food Flow setup is saved in your browser, and built-in backup/restore tools help you save or move your data when needed.
